First Person is a 3D computer game and art project. Its protagonist, the game’s character, is a portrait of the artist created with a 3D games character designer. The portrait, a distinctive figure clad in vibrant red, exists within a monochrome 3D world, created with the Torque game engine. The 3D space is a simple, white expanse, housing one building, based on the Perth Concert Hall (the project commissioners) mapped with line drawings of the real space.

The character embodies and guides the viewer around the building, negotiating the space in a games-like way, jumping, strafing, etc with discrete extensions to real human prowess.
